Ava's Crush is a black currant forward wine, with cherry candy, and bittersweet chocolate flavors. Lip smacking tannins, and a full mouth feel to round off the medium acidity and deep red color. Aged in once and twice filled barrels for light barrel notes. Comprised of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon from Rattlesnake Hills (Portteus Vineyards) and 20% Merlot from Columbia Valley (Burgess Vineyards). This wine goes great with pizza or your favorite Italian dish. Best if the wine is decanted for 30 minutes at this young age.
